Mr. Baker is a Senior Advisor at Cypress West Realty Partners, LLC. Currently, George Baker is a Managing Director in JLL’s Real Estate Investment Banking (“REIB”) practice with a national remit covering both debt and equity. Mr. Baker came to JLL from the principal side of the business where he worked with the JLL REIB team on numerous commercial real estate financings. Mr. Baker was formerly Managing Partner, Chief Investment Officer and Board Member at Montecito Medical, a medical real estate firm with investments throughout the US. While at Montecito, Mr. Baker oversaw over $600 million in medical real estate investments. This responsibility included institutional equity and debt financing as well as Credit Tenant Lease financing. Mr. Baker is a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin and currently resides in Aspen, Colorado.
Mr. Jerry Kring
Mr. Kring has over 30 years of experience in the health insurance and managed care industry as an owner and developer of administrative systems, group health insurance management programs, insurance product development and licensing and claims administration. Mr. Kring founded the largest independently owned Managed care company in Nevada, MCC Inc., which held direct contracts with over 4000 physicians and other medical providers throughout the state. Mr. Kring purchased the Horizon Healthcare Network and incorporated a three network system in Nevada, known as PPO Alliance, which is still is the largest provider network in Nevada. Mr. Kring developed many electronic support systems like Nevada Health Link, an online system to connect providers with payers, Preferred Management, LLC, a protocol based system for automated authorization based on diagnostic treatment plans for medical providers. His company was the first to automate all aspects of Workers Comp claim reporting, treatment tracking and case processing in the country. His automated multiple PPO claims re-pricing system was the first one used extensively through the country. Mr. Kring has won multiple awards and recognition from companies such as Prudential, Mass Mutual, Humana as well as National Magazines for his innovative solutions for health care administration. Mr. Kring served as president of the Southern Nevada Association of Health Underwriters and Vice President of the Nevada Health Underwriters Association. Mr. Kring attended UNLV & Bluffton College and holds a Nevada Insurance Broker’s license, a Nevada Restricted Gaming License (retired), Food and Beverage (alcohol) License, and a Nevada CCW.
Bill is currently a Principal and Founding Partner of Capital Law & Advisory Group, LLC based just outside of Atlanta, GA. Over an almost 30-year legal career, Bill has been in private practice and in-house focusing on all aspects of commercial real estate, including particular focus on the acquisition, development, financing and disposition of multifamily and medical office real estate on a national basis. Bill is licensed to practice law in Florida and Georgia, and has worked on closing transactions on a national level in multiple jurisdictions from coast-to-coast.
Edward Hernandez is a Managing Director with Cushman & Wakefield’s West Coast Capital Markets Group. He is a 25 year real estate industry veteran who specializes in investment sales of office and industrial properties. Since 2000, he has facilitated over 50 million square feet of office and industrial investment sales on behalf of institutional and private clients valued at over $8 billion. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Hernandez managed the Southern California Capital Markets Group investment transaction activities at Trammell Crow Company from 2000 through 2006. Prior to 2000, Mr. Hernandez was senior investment analyst and asset manager at Mutual of New York (MONY) and Pacific Gulf Properties where he oversaw investments, leasing, acquisitions, dispositions and portfolio management, as well commercial loan origination. Mr. Hernandez received his B.A. in Economics from UCLA and his M.B.A. from Chapman University and holds a California real estate license.
