Singing River Cancer Center

The Singing River Cancer Center (SRCC) is a recently completed 45,904 square foot comprehensive cancer center located in Florence, Alabama. The single-story facility has been located near major traffic and commercial areas to maximize patient convenience. It is also located 1.5 miles from the new North Alabama Medical Center (263 beds) opened in 2019. The SRCC offers three lines of business related to oncology: radiation oncology, infusion therapy/medical oncology, and imaging. The layout of the building is included as an exhibit, showing imaging (peach), medical oncology/infusion (blue), and radiation oncology (green) spaces as designed. The design maximizes floor space and allows for cross-functional treatment of patients on a comprehensive basis in a single facility and offers a 4.2:1000 parking ratio. As a regional care facility, it draws patients from a 100-mile radius and beyond, serving north Alabama, southern Tennessee, and northeastern Mississippi.
