Cypress West Partners Completes Construction on Queen Creek, AZ’s First Off Campus Medical Office Building

Cypress West Partners has completed construction on a new 22,000 square foot medical office building in the fast-growing community of Queen Creek, AZ. The building is 100 percent leased to five tenants including Action Behavior Centers, a leading applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy for autism provider in the area. Located at 22363 E. Domingo Road, the property known as Ocotillo Medical Collaborative was built at a construction cost of $10 million.

According to Jason Anzalone, managing director of development, Cypress West Partners, this building is the first off-campus for lease medical office building to come to market in the town of Queen Creek. Prior to this new development, Queen Creek’s only existing medical office buildings were two on-campus medical office buildings occupied by a health system.

Anzalone added, “Queen Creek was in dire need of medical services for its growing population. To solve high barrier to entry issues, we bought a retail zoned piece of land that we then entitled for medical uses. Our team designed a single-story retail strip center style building to optimize the site. This creative solution helped us to successfully bring much needed medical space to Queen Creek and further added to Cypress West’s growing portfolio of quality class A healthcare real estate.”
